Yesterday, I set out on a quest for Christmas presents. Why is it that Christmas time always reminds me of things I don’t have…and that I want! It’s really quite the dilemma when faced with the option of buying for your mom….or yourself. She has enough things right? While in Crate and Barrel, I just couldn’t resist a few items….
I realize I don’t really need specific spoons for my condiments…but think of how much more fun scooping out mustard or peanut butter will be with these beauties! I also realize I just got married and already have half of Crate and Barrel in my living room….but what about the other half!?
Ok, these were just too awesome to pass up. I constantly run back and forth to my computer looking up different conversions or equivalents. These may have actually been worth the money (as opposed to many other things I buy). So, if you find yourself in Crate and Barrel, just know they have plenty of Christmas options out there for the people in your life…or yourself. After all, it is the most wonderful time of the year..you deserve it! 🙂
On to today’s workout which was the Crossfit for the day. I get daily Crossfit emails which are so great. Most days I don’t do them..but sometimes I do. Even on the days I don’t, I might do a couple things from Crossfit or get inspired by them. Here was today’s Crossfit:
Three rounds for time:
- run 400 meters
- 15 pullups
- 50 squats
- 15 pullups
It wasn’t too bad. Well, the pullups were bad. They are always bad. I’m sure I won’t be able to lift my arms over my head tomorrow but at least I’ll have a sexy back!
Before the Crossfitting began, I did some abs.
- 3 minutes of plank-1 minute at a time
- Double Crunches- 3 sets of 15. Here is a video demonstration.
- Regular Crunches-3 sets of 15
After I was through with abs, I did a ten minute jog, then Crossfit! It was a pretty good workout overall. I would definitely recommend Crossfit to people who want an intense workout in a short amount of time.
I hope you’re all having a great week so far! I’ll be back later! 🙂
