Christmas Came Early!

We got an unexpected package the other day from my mom-Christmas presents! Every year she sends Christmas decorations before Christmas so we will eventually have an endless supply of holiday cheer around the house. Either she thinks I’m lazy and won’t decorate (which could be true) or assumes we’re poor (also true).  Either way the decorations certainly liven up the place!

The hubs was pretty eager to open the presents so I let him go first. It’s kind of funny (and cute) how excited over presents he gets. I’m sure he was one of those kids that could never sleep the night before Christmas or he woke up at 4 am to see if Santa came yet. If so, then we actually have more in common than I thought because I was the exact same way!

It’s an ornament! I thought it was just a tiny picture frame at first but then my mom explained that no, indeed it’s an ornament. I’m using it as a picture frame though since we don’t have a tree. Or lights. Apparently I do need my mom to mail me decorations.

Santa magnet! I’m actually pretty excited about this guy because I love magnets. I think he might have to stay on the fridge all year..

Just because it’s my dad’s birthday (happy birthday dad!) I’ll post the picture above Santa for the whole world to see!

We also got a yummy smelling cupcake candle, cute towels, Santa in his sleigh, and lotions from Bath and Body Works.

I love this lotion.  It literally smells like frosting. I guess I really enjoy smelling like a walking bakery because I literally do. It’s so yummy!

You have to try this lotion. Just smell it…you’ll love it! Or you’ll just get hungry and go buy some cupcakes.

I got another special present in the mail too…

Looks so official doesn’t it? I guess it is! Whenever I’m a trainer on The Biggest Loser I’ll hang it up in my office.

We’re off to ski Vail today…life is hard.

 

Have you decorated for the holidays? Did you ask for anything special?  I actually asked me mom for the Insanity DVD’s. I wouldn’t be surprised if she looked those up, thought it was weird, and bought me clothes instead. I’d be okay with that to0 :). Other than that, I just asked for warm clothes!! I start training for Boston on monday and I’m pretty sure between now and April it’s not going to get any warmer outside (I wish it would!!).
